Dr Kate Cameron

Dr Kate Cameron is founder and CEO of Cytochroma, an Edinburgh company that manufactures diverse, donor-matched human heart and liver cell models and turns the data from them into a prioritisation platform for AI drug discovery. Since founding the company in 2017 she has built it into a revenue-generating, award-winning business with GSK, Immunocore, Arctoris and Ignota Labs among its customers, secured backing from Morgan Stanley, Scottish Enterprise and UK angel syndicates, and filed a patent on the company's three-in-one cardiac model. Kate holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and has 25+  years experience in biotech and innovation.
